Stickers don’t take a discount. Porsche takes it seriously with the limited 992 Targa 4S Heritage Edition.
Stickers on a new car aren’t just tuners any more. Nowadays you can also buy some sticky stuff on your new car from manufacturers. The German car manufacturer from Zuffenhausen introduced the so-called Heritage Design Edition with the 911 Speedster (991). This was so well received that Porsche came up with even more editions like that. Get acquainted with this special 992 Targa 4S.
The Targa in the pictures is the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Edition. This will be released in a limited edition. Combine the words ‘Porsche’ and ‘limited,’ and you have the customers.
Of the Porsche 992 Targa 4S Heritage Edition, only 992 pieces are made. The model comes from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. The design is a reference to the fifties and early sixties. The version is in the style of the emblems that drivers of a Porsche 356 received when their car had reached the 100 000-kilometer milestones.
You can order the model in four different colors, including Cherry Metallic, as shown in the pictures. In all cases, you will get to deal with golden details and a white livery. Furthermore, the 20/21-inch Carrera Exclusive Design rims are part of the package with black brake calipers.
The interior is two-tone. You get a burgundy red interior in combination with beige or black leather materials. The structure of the seats and the stitching should be a nod to the Porsche 356. On the dashboard is a badge with an individual number for your 992 Targa 4S Heritage Edition.
The engine block is not exactly Heritage. Just a modern blown boxer engine. The Porsche 992 Targa 4S delivers 450 hp and does 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. The top speed is 304 km/h.
